Club in the Park
About us:
The Club in the Park was founded in 1989 The original members wanted to start a club that explored all aspects of design and then used the medium of plant material to express their art. The idea was to branch out from the usual Flower Club of members who just wanted to be entertained, to a club where the "hands on" approach was preferred.
We are made up of mainly teachers, demonstrators and competitive members although anyone who wants to get involved with floral art and flowers is welcome.
Our members come from all over the north west area. Many of our members enter local, national and international competitions with a great deal of success. We take great pride at Club in the Park in the great wealth of talent shown by our members.
We celebrated our 20th anniversary in November at Towneley Hall Burnley with a demonstration by William Dixon. This was attended by several founder members.
