Haughton Green Flower Club
About us:
Meetings are held at 7.30pm on the 2nd Thursday of each month in Haughton Green Methodist Church Hall, Two Trees Lane, Haughton Green, Denton, Manchester, M34 7GL
On club nights we have a skilled demonstrator who usually produces six or seven flower arrangements, which are raffled off at the end of the meeting.
We also have practice nights to help develop the skills of all flower arrangers. these nights are for all abilities.
We are an active club and as well as being involved in several local church festivals we are currently supporting the Alzheimer's Society.
New members are welcome at our club meetings and you can always attend as a visitor.
Our current membership fee is £25.00 per annum and visitors are charged £4.00 per meeting

Haughton Green Flower Club was formed on the 18th February 1970, the first meeting being held on Thursday 12th March. In 2010 we are celebrating our Ruby Anniversary with a Gala Dinner on the 11th March when our guest will be the Area President, Mrs Gillian Platt JP, and our speaker will be Mr Gordon Greenwood.
As part of our Ruby Anniversary Celebrations we are joingin with Haughton Green Methodist Church who are celebratoing their Bi-Centenary during 2010 to present a Flower Festival 'The Time Is Now'. This will be held in the church from the 27th May to the 30th May.
