Lunesdale Flower Club
About us:
We have been in existence since 1967 and some of our founder members (including two of our Honorary Members) still take an active part in the Club.
We draw our membership from Lancaster and around the Lune Valley and our meetings take place every third Wednesday of the month in the Community Centre, Packet Boat Lane, Bolton-le-Sands, Nr. Carnforth, commencing 7.30 p.m. (excluding August and December).
We have both National and North West Area demonstrators at our Meetings. Always very popular with our Members are the Workshops which are occasionally organised by our own talented Members and give variety to our programme.
Outings are arranged to events of special interest. We enjoy taking part in the Area Festivals and some members compete in competitions both at National and Area level with great success.
We finish our meetings with light refreshments and a friendly chat, which also gives an opportunity to purchase items from our well stocked publications and sales stalls.
The lovely floral designs are raffled off each meeting, but just a word of advice - don't come on your bicycle in case you are lucky enough to win one!
We welcome New Members any time of the year.
