Middleton Floral Art Club
About us:
Middleton Floral Art Club was founded in 1961 and meets on the first Tuesday of the month at St.Aidan's Church Hall, Manchester Road, Rochdale (near Sudden/Tesco roundabout.) at 7.30 p.m.
Members are kept busy with flower festivals, trips to garden and flower shows etc and workshops are also held at irregular intervals. Middleton is ideally situated within easy reach of the M66 and M60. New Members and visitors are made most welcome. Membership is £21 per annum, or visitors £3 per visit. Visitors can be signed in by a member, or by a member of the committee. We look forward to seeing new visitors.
We have a demonstration each month by a visiting arranger, and once a year, usually in July, our Open Demonstration, which is normally given by a top-class flower arranger. This year we were given a display by Derek Bridges who created some stunning arrangements and made us laugh as well. Each month, all the displays are raffled, and tea, coffee and biscuits are available. We are all very friendly and love to welcome new members and visitors
PLEASE NOTE: Our October demonstrator has been changed, sadly due to the ill-health of the original demonstrator. The evening will now be 'For your Pleasure' by Margaret Titman who is a North East area demonstrator. We thank Margaret for stepping in at such short notice.
