Morecambe Bay Flower Club
About us:
Morecambe Bay Flower Club has been in existence for 42 years, we started out as a flower class before forming our first club, in recent years in an attempt to update and attract new members we changed our name to its present one and moved to a new venue –
We now have 103 members and are looking for more; we have a great venue in Morecambe. It is the Platform which used to be the old railway station and is brilliant for demonstrators.
At club nights in addition to the Demonstration we have a stall with a different theme each month i.e. jewellery, hats, belts and accessories, pottery, inappropriate gifts etc. We also have a book stall, these stalls assist the club with finances as all items are donated by club members.
It costs £25 a year to join or £3.50 per visit, why not come along and try it this winter, you may be lucky enough to win a raffle (one of the demonstrators arrangements) Starts at 7.00p.m.
Affiliated to the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies of Great Britain
The photgraghs below were taken at Lytham Hall in December 2009. This beautiful display was cereated by three of our members, Kathleen Cornthwaite, Margaret Skelhorn and Sylvia Fearn.
