Rossendale Flower Club

About us:

We are a small club of around 25 members, we enjoy and have an interest in learning the art of flower arranging and visiting gardens to pick up new ideas.  We would like to welcome any like minded people to join us.

The club is fast approaching its 50th year anniversary and over the years we have been lucky enough to have local and North West/National demonstrators within our own club and some have even entered and won at Chelsea Flower Show. 

We have ”hands on workshop-style" nights (every 3rd Tuesday) when we follow the lead of a demonstrator.  In addition, we have trips to flower festivals, gardens and garden centres.  We hold an annual meal around Christmas time, which is always very popular with our members.

Why not come along and see what we do?  We meet at Haslingden Cricket Club 7.15pm for 7.30pm start.

February 2010    Our A.G.M. was well attended and Diane fron Harrogate Flower Club did some beautiful arrangement for us, which was raffled off (myself having won one). This was the year we had to nominate a new chairman etc and committee.  Fortunately the outgoing was re instated with two new members joining the committee.  Many thanks to Marj, Norma and Julia for standing again. As you will see we have an exciting programme for this coming year,and we hope you all enjoy what has been organised.  As always we are looking for new members to enjoy our nights with Flowers, so get telling your friends.
