Whalley Flower Club
About us:
Whalley Flower Club was formed in 1984 by a small group of ladies who had just completed their City and Guilds at Myerscough College and wanted to continue their friendship and love of flowers. From small beginnings the Club has grown and 2009 saw us celebrating our 25th Anniversary.
The Grand Finale to our celebrations will be a demonstration by NAFAS NATIONAL DEMONSTRATOR - TOM HODGE, on Thursday 3rd December 2009 titled "MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS" held at Clitheroe Royal Grammar School, Chatburn Road, Clitheroe BB7 2BA at 7.30 p.m. Admission for non-members will be £7.00 which includes a glass of wine or juice and nibbles. A Christmas Hamper will be raffled as well as all the flower arrangements created by Tom Hodge.
We are a small and friendly club with an enthusiastic committee who have planned a wonderful programme for 2010. See our programme in the gallery section for dates.
We have enjoyed several workshops this year tutored by Jane Brown the latest making Christmas Decorations on 11th November at 7.30 p.m. in St.Michael and St.James Centre,Clitheroe.
Meetings are held at 7.30 p.m. on the 2nd Thursday of the month, unless otherwise stated, at Whalley Methodist Church Hall, King Street, Whalley.
Annual membership is £27.00 visitors pay £5.00 per meeting which includes refreshments.
